Ally Bayard, LPC-S
Founder, Counselor, Clinical Director, Board Approved Supervisor, Certified Autism Specialist
Ally is the founder and clinical director of Refinery Counseling Center LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and board approved supervisor in the state of Louisiana. Ally enjoys providing a range of mental health services including play therapy, family therapy, parenting education, relationship counseling and consultation services. Her areas of focus include anxiety, childhood issues, family and relationship dynamics, neurodivergent disorders and helping clients through life transitions. Kaeli Egler, LCSW, PMH-C
Kaeli graduated from LSU with a Master’s of Social Work in 2019 following a Bachelor’s of Child and Family Studies in 2015. She has a passion for serving her community demonstrated throughout her professional career with work in advocacy, crisis intervention, forensic interviewing, and trauma informed therapy.
Kaeli is experienced in a variety of settings including hospitals, nonprofits, the justice system, and mental health clinics treating individuals and families across the life span. As a therapist, Kaeli prioritizes her client’s collaboration and strengths to foster trust and respect as the center of the therapeutic relationship. Kaeli’s clinical work utilizes a person-centered and integrative approach, incorporating various evidence-based interventions including TF-CBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, and other trauma focused techniques to support her client’s interests, empowerment, and integrative care. She has her certification in Perinatal Mental Health to support her specialized assessment and treatment of women during pregnancy through post-partum for related mental health disorders and stressors.
Kaeli specializes in working with women, children, and families with areas of focus including trauma, grief, women’s issues, secondary trauma, life transitions, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, parenting, attachment challenges, and family conflict.
Outside of work, Kaeli enjoys quality time with her daughter, husband, and pack of pets. She also enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and reading.


Jourdan Waddell, PLPC
Jourdan is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC, pending July board approval) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Dance from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University.
Jourdan is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life’s transitions and emotional challenges with compassion and confidence. Her clinical areas of focus include anxiety, depression, women’s issues, self-esteem, and identity exploration. Jourdan has a special interest in working with young women, rooted in her background with women’s empowerment organizations.
Jourdan’s counseling style is person-centered and integrative. She draws from expressive arts, talk therapy, and cognitive behavioral techniques to tailor her approach to each individual. She believes strongly in the healing power of community, creativity, and movement, and encourages authenticity and self-discovery, guiding clients toward a deeper connection with their true selves.
Outside of the therapy room, Jourdan remains active in the performing arts, enjoys traveling, teaches group fitness, and mentors young artists as they follow their passions.
Katelyn Gomes, LMSW
Katelyn is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University.
Katelyn has experience working with families and children in both school and private mental health settings. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, self esteem, peer relationships, behavioral skills, life transitions, grief, family conflict, and school/work issues. Katelyn approaches her therapy sessions with intentionality, warmth, kindness and understanding. She incorporates CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and play-based therapy in her sessions. Her goal is simple: to be a reliable source of encouragement and compassion for her clients while they navigate the ups and downs of life.
Outside of work, Katelyn is happiest when spending time with her family, baby boy, and husband. She loves trying new restaurants, going to coffee shops with friends, and staying active.


Paige Michel, LMFT
Paige is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Paige has experience working with families, couples, children and adults. Her areas of focus include relationship stress, anxiety disorders, trauma, and self esteem. Paige works from a systemic perspective and tailors her therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of each client. She often uses narrative and experiential approaches to therapy. Paige also utilizes various trauma focused modalities (including prolonged exposure) to help guide you towards change and growth.
In her free time Paige enjoys watching classic movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Alyssa Bergeron, LMSW
Alyssa is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Louisiana State University. She has experience working with clients across the lifespan, from toddlers to older adults, and is experienced supporting children, teens, young adults and families.
Alyssa practices from a trauma-informed perspective, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. She tailors treatment to each individual, integrating strength-based approaches with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, and sandtray therapy.
She is especially passionate about sandtray therapy and is currently working toward full ICST credentialing, expected in November 2026. Sandtray therapy offers a nonverbal, expressive approach that can be especially helpful for children, as well as adolescents and adults who have difficulty putting experiences into words. By engaging both the emotional and cognitive parts of the brain, it supports deeper processing, insight, and healing.
Outside of work, Alyssa is married to her high school sweetheart, Remy. Together, they are raising their son, Nathan, along with three beloved furry family members. She enjoys embroidering, involvement in her local church, and spending quality time with family and friends.


Gabby Marino, LPC
Gabby is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans.
Gabby has experience working with children and adolescents in the school and private mental health settings. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to, anxiety/ stress, grief, self-esteem, academic struggles, life transitions, family challenges and peer relationships. Gabby has always had a passion for helping and working with kids. She views the therapeutic relationship as the heart of therapy. Gabby values establishing a safe space of trust and support so clients can gain insight, learn coping skills, and ultimately grow toward their full God-given potential. She loves to utilize mindfulness-based techniques, play, art therapy, and other creative outlets when working with clients.
In her free time, Gabby loves spending quality time with family and friends, working out, traveling, and watching her favorite TV shows.
Elizabeth Morris, PLMFT
Elizabeth is a Provisional Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (PLMFT). She completed her undergraduate studies at LSU and later earned a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University.
Elizabeth is passionate about helping couples strengthen their relationships, rebuild trust, and improve communication. She specializes in affair recovery and guiding partners through tough conversations with honesty and care. Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—a highly effective approach for couples—she helps clients express their needs in a way that fosters deeper connection, reduces conflict, and enhances intimacy.
Beyond her work with couples, Elizabeth enjoys supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life transitions and heal from past experiences. Her approach is warm and compassionate, yet she believes in being direct and transparent to help clients gain clarity and make meaningful progress toward their goals. Elizabeth is also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.
Outside the office, Elizabeth loves to travel and experience different cultures with friends and family. When she is home she loves to cook, spend time outdoors with her dog Pretzel, and collect houseplants.”


Reese Bergeron, LMSW
Reese is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University.
Reese is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, offering support through academic, social, and life transitions. She helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and family conflict with a thoughtful, strength-based approach. Reese enjoys providing care for those with chronic illness and is recognized by the Ehlers-Danlos Society as an approved provider for clients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
Reese creates a warm, collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported. Her work empowers clients and families to build emotional insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward lasting, meaningful change.
Outside of work, Reese enjoys traveling with her husband, spending quality time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and staying active in the community.
Sarah Fisher, PLPC
Sarah Fisher is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) with a Master’s in Counselor Education from Louisiana State University.
Sarah believes you don’t have to wait for things to get “bad enough” to start therapy. Sometimes, simply having space to feel seen and supported is enough. She works primarily with teens, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, identity exploration, neurodivergence, or life transitions, but welcomes anyone seeking to grow and feel more grounded.
Her approach is trauma-informed and draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Brainspotting, an experiential method that supports deeper emotional processing.
Sarah’s therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and flexible. She aims to help clients explore their thoughts, patterns, and experiences at a pace that feels safe and empowering. Her goal is to support clients in slowing down, building self-awareness, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of work, Sarah loves reading at coffee shops, spending quality time with friends and family, staying active, and traveling.


Jhennifer Pancheco, LMSW
Jhennifer is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. She is a bilingual (Spanish/English) clinician and has dedicated her career to working with children and adolescents, a population for which she holds a deep passion. Jhennifer has experience in schools, advocacy centers, and private practice, which has strengthened her ability to support youth with diverse needs and backgrounds.
Jhennifer’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, warm, and based on the individual needs of the person. Her areas of focus include behavioral, social, and emotional challenges, anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and trauma. She integrates evidence-based interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to tailor treatment to each child or adolescent. Jhennifer believes every young person deserves a supportive space where they can build resilience, process experiences at their own pace, and grow with confidence, while having a meaningful voice.
Outside of work, Jhennifer enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their 3 furry family members. She loves trying new foods, baking, and perfecting her at-home lattes.
Taylor Bourque, LPC
Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Houston Christian University.
When you first meet Taylor, her goal is for you to feel at home—comfortable enough to exhale, and ready to begin your healing process. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, and she believes growth often happens when we’re challenged to see things differently. She often tells her clients, “It’s not a bad thing, it’s not a good thing, it’s just a thing”, as they work together to explore experiences without judgment and work toward understanding, balance, and change.
Taylor works with teens, adults, and couples (ages 13+), helping to navigate anxiety, family conflict, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Her work is grounded in a client-centered philosophy and shaped by techniques from CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Gottman Method principles. Every session is individualized to fit your goals and pace. She is also able to offer Christian faith integration for those who wish to include spirituality in their counseling process.
When she is not at work, you can find Taylor running, hiking, exploring different cities, or trying to find the best coffee in the area.


Cooper Chavers, BS
Practice Manager
Cooper is the practice manager and “jack of all trades” at Refinery Counseling Center. She manages all office responsibilities including scheduling, billing, social media, community engagements and client relations. Cooper is a Baton Rouge native and earned her degree in public relations from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication. Upon graduating, Cooper worked in Public Relations for Entergy in New Orleans and spent a year in Raleigh, NC for her husband’s work.
Outside of the office, Cooper enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. She also loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling and being outdoors!
